The Old Post Office is a public house and hotel located on the edge of the Historic textile town of Halifax and was the original Post Office serving the town dating back to 1790. It comprises of a Free House serving a wide variety of Cask Conditioned Real Ales and a wide range of lagers.

The Hotel has recently been fully redeveloped to modern standards and offers single, double, twin and disabled accommodation furnished to a high standard. En-suite rooms are available with tea and coffee making facilities, Digital Freeview TV/DVD and wi-fi internet access available.
We also have basic single bedrooms with tv and coffee/tea making facilities,and Wi-Fi internet access available.There are separate bathroom for the use of single room users. The Old Post Office is situated on the Eastern side of the Town and is centrally located 2 minutes walk from the Town Centre and very close to the Train Station and Bus Terminal. The M62 is only 4 miles away and is accessed via the A629. Please be aware that all Room Rates are ROOM ONLY.
